  • Dual Diagnosis/Co-occurring Disorders Treatment
These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
The focus of cognitive behavioral therapy (also called CBT) is helping people to understand the thoughts and emotions that underlie their addiction with the goal of learning new, healthier and more productive ways to understand and express themselves.
  • Trauma & Associative Awareness Therapy (AAT)
Associative Awareness Therapy (AAT) uses the brain’s innate ability to adapt to change in a healing way, essentially “retraining” the brain to respond differently to familiar memories of trauma or pain.
  • Process Abuse Treatment
Not all addictions involve mood-altering chemicals. The term “process addiction” describes the unhealthy use of behaviors (including eating, gambling, sexual activity, shopping, internet use, etc.) that has spiraled out of control and into the realm of addiction.

I honestly have to agree that the place did help me clean up, BUT they did treat you worse than prisoners when it came to phone calls/trying to contact loved ones, and the insurance fraud.... I was told everything was covered with no out of pocket costs, well it was up until a year later they tried to bill me $20,000 for treatment. And on top of that I looked at my insurance charges and there was roughly $250,000 in charges to my insurance including $400 urine tests every other day that should cost $100 at most, other ridiculous “therapy” charges that amounted to $2,000 every couple days. The detox bill alone was $20,000 and they tried to keep me in detox for as long as they could even though I was detoxed and not on any protocol. I even had a “surgical” charge to my insurance.... not once did I ever have dental/vision surgery or even any sort of incision in my body. It was prescriptions, therapists, and groups. This place milks insurance companies based on people’s suffering with addiction and then later tries to bill you. Do not go here or anywhere in Florida for treatment. They are all insurance fraud bed brokers

DO NOT GO! I went to this sh*t hole because I wanted to get clean. I looked at a lot of Rehab facilities and I was persuaded to go here from "mcall" from phone calls and emails. All the pictures are FAKE. All the promises are FAKE. The place is disgusting. NOTHING like the pictures. They want your insurance money that is ALL they after. They will make you stay there as long as they can get money from your insurance company. I was trying to leave after the first day because I could tell all they wanted was money. Some of the techs were friendly. It is PRISON!!!!! I asked 15 people in 24 hours if I could please leave. They just kept sending me to higher people on the totem pole and they just kept trying to get to me stay. I was in there voluntarily there and it took me 3 days just to get my belongings back. They would not let you make phone calls or receive phone calls. They beg you to stay there and try to tell you how bad you need to be there. The rooms are disgusting and the food is just as bad. I feel bad for ANYONE that gets conned into going to this place. DO NOT DO IT! DON'T! After 2 years and milking my insurance company they start sending you bills, even though "mcall" said it was fully covered on with my insurance company. After they finally gave me my stuff back they stuck me in a car with 1 other person that was getting released. They took me to random train station and kicked me out. Finally gave me my phone so i could try and book a flight back to MT at 3 in the afternoon. Luckily i had the resources to do that and didn't get stuck in Miami for an extended period of time. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP!!!!!!!!!!! They are selling you garbage!!!
