The detox is literally the nicest one in South Florida which says a lot cause there are tons of great detoxes there. The program was the most structured one I\'ve been to and I\'ve been to about 12 different treatment centers. I didn\'t stay clean after and I hated my therapist, my family disliked him too but other than that it was a great program. I\'ve sent four different people there since I\'ve been there and they are all still clean today. They make a big deal of keeping girls and guys separated...I think they should be a little more lenient with that rule honestly.

I recently Had the experience with Recovery By the Sea. Today I am 60 days sober. The longest I\'ve been in YEARS! Coming in from the beginning, I knew it would not be an easy task for me however, I also knew in my heart that I needed the change and that the only thing that could make this possible could only come from within. The Desire to change an never look back. None of this would have been possible without the help from everyone at Recovery By The Sea. I have nothing but a great sense of gratitude to each and every one of the staff members from the Doctors to the Nurses, the Therapists all the way to every single Tech. RBS has an approach that could very well be compared to real life. that being said, I had to get used to a few things that I am still practicing today since I left there. This goes for the new clients and also any future client. Housing with others under renovations was not an easy thing for me, but it sure got easier with time. I caught myself in a position where it was leave bitter or stay and become a part of a family among new friends and therapists. Either I left with nothing or, I stayed and change my life for good. And today that is where I stand. Just give things time and be patient. Yesterday I got a call and I received a job offer that will probably change my life around to live happy and healthy. I no longer have to take anxiety medicine or try to escape by using. I still to this day use the methods of coping with life during trying times. If I ever need to talk to anyone in confidence I have a phone number of the alumni cordinater. He calls everyone that goes through the program and follows up with them with their approval. He just contacted me this week. Its nice to have a friend for life that you can share your stories of success. I had lost almost everything and Futures gave me a brand new life. This year I will be going back to colledge. I never dreamed I would be able to escape the terrible life I was living. Recently my Dad passed. He told me the night before he passed that he was going home and was tired. I was able to talk in length with him and he trusted me to take care of my mother. If it wasn\'t for Futures he would not have been able to die peacefully. He trusted me. Wow TRUST? That\'s a great thing to have back with my family. Some people say that you cant quit unless you want to. I was forced into treatment and just laying attention to what was being taught from dietary to chemical dependency I got sober. I\'m am happy now and don\'t have to take anything for my anxiety. Its an awesome life. I want to thank each and everyone who works at the treatment center for giving my life back.
