The next thing I knew, I was in a group, and the therapist leading it said a few things that caught my attention. I thought she was talking about me! She was teaching us about how we react to our emotions because we are so used to numbing those emotions so that we didnt have to deal with them. That right there did it. Now I still carry with me everyday the notebook that I took notes in from River Oaks. I am APPLYING those notes and skills in my daily life. The program does work if you work it. Just try. I'm glad I did.
