The Ranch at Dove Tree
Don't resist the process. There's a reason for everything they do. Throw caution to the wind. Be vulnerable, totally honest and work hard. It may not feel like it, but days at Dove Tree are a gift and if you want it, you can get your life back. Beautiful grounds, good counselors. Family involvement is considered very important. Great gym, yoga and other various structured exercise. Programs are tailored specifically for each client. Rehab is hard no matter where you are. The first few days are grueling, maybe that could have been improved. I wasn't court ordered, I wanted to turn things around before I experienced losses. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal right at first. However, it passed and I learned why they follow such strict protocols, but still, it made it harder.
Greenhouse Outpatient Treatment Center
Overall it's a good outpatient program with intensive therapy groups daily and a nice place to stay in sober living while doing your outpatient program. The food at resolutions is very good and the rooms are nice, new and clean with mini-fridges, tv's and plenty of space with maid service. The pool is also beautiful and is a nice way to relax after a long week of class. The only ding I have is regarding the individual therapy - I haven't gotten very much out of the individual sessions (it may just be my individual therapist) the group sessions/classes are beneficial and they teach about a broad range of topics including healthy relationships, mindfulness, meditation, co-occurring disorders and communication. One thing to note, you are not allowed to get a pass (leave the facility) until you are in treatment for 14 business days and no visitors are allowed to come into the facility.
Greenhouse Treatment Center
Greenhouse provides a very comfortable, accommodating, space to detox and start your recovery journey. After detoxing, you are moved to spacious residential suites. 3 hours of recovery classes in the morning from very knowledgeable counselors. A smaller process group with your therapist during the middle of the day, where you become to feel safe to really open up and share with others about your experience and gain insight from the experience of others. Each day usually ends with your choice of an activity - whether it be a specifically tailored lecture (faith-based recovery, for example), yoga, or another group session with people with similar careers. The facility is taken care of by excellent staff. There is daily housekeeping and laundry 2 times a week. There are vanities in each room. Spacious do uble sized beds for each client. Lots of lighting to fight the depression. The facility has two pools (one indoor, one outdoor), a gym, a yoga room, and a sauna (which wasn't operational during my visit, but usually is). You are fed 3 full, home-cooked meals daily. The food is spectacular relative to other facilities, but after a couple weeks can become repetitive. However, this isn't regular frozen institution food, there's no complaining. It's great. I was able to gain 10 lbs of healthy muscle between the meals and the gym. The therapists here know what they're talking about. I worked with Todd, who is probably the best and most upfront therapist I've come across in my decade of therapy. The staff is very helpful in making sure you're not only taken care of within the facility, but that you have all of your recovery steps in place to continue your journey after inpatient. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
