They were bandaid programs not solving the problem long term. I was able to make excuses for myself in those programs "I have a disease, relapse is part of my story" so on and so forth. So despite what some "scientific data" might spit out about these different programs and how they are better, I can offer a real experience of someone who truly wanted to better her life. I have taken responsibility and accountablity for my own life today. I pay my own bills, I exercise, I have a full time job, I am 24 years old and have dreams and goals that would have not been made possible if it weren't for the "tough love" that I recieved. To realize that we have a choice is a very powerful thing that i think many people fail to take into account. Most of the time i think its for fear that then they have to actually be responsible for the things they do. Anyways, great program! Definetly gave me the tools i needed to be successful!
