I took my boyfriend to Bergen Regional and they did not want to check him in. He went through a physiological check, and they involved me in the decision making. He was a repeat "visitor" to this facility. Upon much begging he was finally accepted and stayed for over a month. They are committed to the well-being of the patients. However, the counselors do not know their patients as well as they could. Also, the visiting hours and phone hours were slim to none.
