- Residential TreatmentResidential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
- Medical DetoxificationDrugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.

Strengths: Accessibility, well maintained, diverse. Weaknesses: Different rules for different people, visiting hours were very limited, all food was fried or heavily rich. I was here for a year and 2 months for alcohol. This was my first rehab and I have to say, it saved my life! I was able to learn tools and fill voids where needed. I moved to there sober living after 45 days in intensive treatment and was able to get a full time job and fight my 11 year prison sentence from a felony DUI. i just celebrated 17 months and have been on my own for 2 months excelling in my job and cleaning up the wreckage of my past. Great 12 step program. Great staff. Too much down time. I felt that because I wanted recovery the program worked well.

They had great staff that understood addiction. Most of the staff were recovering addicts also. They also had the best meals and meetings I've ever been to. I think the only downfall was there wasn't a swimming pool and the counselors weren't very good at their job I felt like they both were very judgmental. I have very few negative things to say about this establishment for they were amazing on helping me get my life back in order. The staff really knew what they were doing and talking about. Everyone there had a great deal of compassion. I would recommend ABC recovery center to anyone that comes in my path.
