Specialization

  • Medical Detoxification

Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
  • Individualized Treatment

Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.

Staff is overworked. Head of nurses was the meanest b.... in the world , food was haaa ok and the acommodation were terrible. Just an enclosed place with high fences and 1 ping pong table.

I just left this facility yesterday & would recommend u run as fast as u can to get away from this place ! I admitted myself and was not allowed to call my wife or check out. They make u sign a contract stating u can not recieve your id or money or clothes untill u stsy another 72 hrs so ur screwed i was treated better in jail. The staff is the most unprofessional people ive ever delt with with the exception of a few techs who in my opinion should be running the place there is no recreational things to do at all !! For the 14 days i was there i was served chicken every night for dinner. They have snacks in the living area but u cant beat the employees to them they eat them all and leave u with nothing. They called my wife behind my back and lied to her about several things almost costing me my marriage i litteraly had to threaten to do physical harm to someone to actually get a private 5 min phone call at which time my wife realised she to was bei g lied to and played !! I can go on and on for pages of the things that happened to me during my stay. Not to mention your safety is in jeporady here cause of the patients threating harm to staff members and others. This is by far the worse rehab i have ever been to and ive been to 3 different rehabs. I only wish i could leave a contact so people reading this could contact me for the truth about this place my story is pages and days long way to much to list on here i am a mature 57 yr old man who relapsed after 10 & a half yrs clean so i think i know a little bit about adduction and how its treated ive been in service with NA & have actually sponsored guys in NA. But we all make mistakes and learn from them. I would recommend u run from this place as fast as u can. TY for reading my review like NA if this helps 1 person it will be worth it !!!

After 10 years of using, my son went here for detox. Thanks to Arete and their great staff, he is now well on the way to recovery. My dealings with them were always very professional and forthright. I would certainly recommend this facility.

My daughter didn’t sign a hipa, they didn’t notify us she left. They are keeping her things for 3 days so we have to extend our time in Fl before heading back to NY. They never gave her the synthroid nor any treatment drugs through the night. They told her she didn’t need her thyroid medicine. NEVER NEVER GO HERE!! This is the 2 nd time she was there and this time , new staff and just incompatent all around. Go to The Florida House!! Much success and they truly care!!
