Specialization

  • Trauma & Associative Awareness Therapy (AAT)

Not all addictions involve mood-altering chemicals. The term “process addiction” describes the unhealthy use of behaviors (including eating, gambling, sexual activity, shopping, internet use, etc.) that has spiraled out of control and into the realm of addiction.
  • Holistic Therapy

Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.

I am a employee of Arrowhead Lodge. It is the most rewarding job that I have ever had. We have such a great program. I personally have learned alot and the change I have seen in clients from when they first start their journey of recovery to living a healthier more positive life style is truly amazing to watch. I am blessed to haves the opportunity to work with Robyn and the rest of the Arrowhead staff. Our goal here is to teach our clients a whole new way of thinking on how to live their lives..

I have been through treatment before, but nothing compares to the care you get here. It is intense one-on-one treatment and helped me more than I can say. the real deal and work tirelessly to help you. If you are a married man and do not want to go to a treatment center with single kids, then Arrowhead Lodge Recovery is the place to go for help. You will be with men who are your peers and who want to get sober, rather than 20 something heroin addicts still living off their parents. I've been sober for a year now and back with my wife and children and working again in my medical career. I cannot say thanks enough!

My son was in need of recovery. From the moment I talked with the co-owner, I started to feel a moment of relief. She took charge and completely understood the situation that I was facing. It took a couple times to get my son to accept the idea that he needed this but once I got him there they took charge of him. It took him a while to submit and accept what needed to be accepted and once we passed that hurdle, things started developing in the right direction. A staff stood in almost as a surrogate "parent" to help my son understand what he was doing and got him to see past his addiction and start becoming the person he was years ago. Therapy my son received was extensive. His interaction with therapists and doctors helped provide him the necessary tools to clear his mind, and start living a grateful life. The facility is very comfortable, a large mountain side house with plenty of room to find a quiet place to think, a kitchen that is semi-gourmet, with a meal plan that is healthy, my son gained about 20 pounds while in therapy which he needed. They also got him off of his addiction to smoking which is a great side benefit. The availability to talk with the therapists and was never an issue...I called them often and they always listened and counseled me which I needed. My son has decided to stay in Prescott to continue outpatient therapy with the therapist he was assigned to because they have formed a close relationship. Their attention to his case was very evident, they cared greatly about his recovery and I felt so very comfortable with their advise and counsel. This place deserves all of the credit for turning a loose, crazed horse back into a young man that I can be proud to call my son. Thank you Thank you Thank you...did I say Thank you enough! If you need help, go here.

My father was admitted due to alcoholism. This was pretty much his last chance of getting help otherwise he was going to die if he continued drinking. The staff was amazing including the facilities. Beautiful location! He said the food was great and they were able to assist with getting him back on healthy eating plan.

I had my doubts about AHL because of experiences in other places. I figured it was just another brick in the wall. After a call to AHL, I made the decision to meet and talk with the owner. It was the smartest choice I could have made. Surprisingly, he not only understood what was happening in my thought process, but he helped me get deeper into it to figure out why it was happening. What I learned gave me better perspective while I was there and it continues to be an active part of my daily life. Five stars, simply amazing! Seclusion is a wonderful thing. In order to clear my head I had to silence the noise. AHL's remote location was the ideal place to do this as they are on a mountain, away from the daily grind. I wouldn't necessarily call it a weakness because it's not something everybody does...but I enjoy swimming regularly.
