The “Asana Way” is our distinctive philosophy—one that pairs traditional and alternative therapies to create personalized treatment plans for men and women seeking recovery. We integrate evidence-based practices, harm reduction techniques, and holistic healing to foster deep, meaningful, and lasting change. Treatment planning begins immediately upon admission, even during medically supervised detox, ensuring a smooth transition into comprehensive care. Our onsite medical team closely monitors medication-assisted detoxification for opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, and other substances, utilizing individualized protocols to enhance comfort and safety. Our clinical team consists of some of the most experienced addiction professionals in the industry, bringing together expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Clients engage in daily therapy—a combination of individual, group, and family counseling—to uncover the root causes of addiction while developing strong coping mechanisms and relapse prevention strategies. Recovery is about more than just stopping substance use—it’s about building a new way of life. At Asana Recovery, we integrate mindfulness practices, physical fitness, and nutrition-focused care into daily programming to promote total-body healing. Our on-site chef-prepared meals emphasize proper nutrition, replenishing essential vitamins and minerals often depleted by addiction. Our nutritionist provides dietary analysis, meal consulting, and hands-on cooking training to teach clients sustainable, healthy eating habits. Daily movement and exercise range from beach walks and CrossFit training to one-on-one boxing sessions with our personal trainers, encouraging both mental and physical resilience. Beyond therapy, Asana Recovery fosters a tight-knit, supportive environment that encourages accountability and connection. Clients participate in 12-Step programs, Self-Management and Recovery Training (SMART), and other peer-based support groups to build a strong foundation for lifelong sobriety. With comprehensive treatment options including PHP in Orange County, IOP in Orange County, and outpatient rehab in Orange County, we offer a structured and supportive path to recovery. Our treatment approach is designed to be transformative, empowering, and deeply personalized, helping clients rediscover their sense of purpose, resilience, and joy in recovery. ***2 week stay cost me $62,000.00*** Beware! I agree with the positive reviews that this place is extremely clean and the staff treated me amazingly and i got alot out of the program- the problem didn\'t start til after I got home 2 weeks later. Kelsey told us we had to pay nothing out of pocket and the 2 week stay would only cost $3,500...basically anything we wanted to hear to get me in the door. Imagine my disbelief when I got a bill in the mail for $62,000!!! Yes u heard me right, sixty two Thousand dollars for a 2 week stay!!!!! When I called Kelsey to ask about receiving a detailed breakdown of the bill no answer....I have heard similar stories about this place getting all they can from the insurance companies and now I believe it! Yes they are a great place but at what cost??? Could of went to Malibu for 30 days for that price. Not 14 days in Costa Mesa. Its a shame because I really liked this place until I got the bill.

I’ve been working here as support staff for a little over 2 months now. With 4 years of experience in this field working at multiple detox/residential facilities I can honestly say that this is the best treatment center I have ever worked at. We have an amazing team here that is both compassionate and professional. The clients here are cared for and they receive the help that they need. I’m looking forward to continue changing and restoring lives along side this team.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Asana. I googled ‘best detox facilities’ and Asana stood out as one that caters to you as a unique individual and not just the cookie cutter institutional facility so I braved it and gave them a call. I was immediately connected to Kelsey who helped me coordinate everything for my trip within an hour to start my treatment. It was my first time in a detox and I had no idea what to expect and was extremely nervous about taking the first step. Kelsey told me someone will pick me up from the airport which was wonderful, Angel picked me up at the airport and immediately asked if I was hungry or thirsty and offered to take me to get something to eat. He could not have been kinder and more welcoming. He took me straight to the house and I was met with Morgan who helped me do all the paperwork that first night and made me feel so comfortable through a very stressful day, she helped me get settled and made sure I knew I could come to her for anything and everything. From the techs to the nurses they made me feel like I was their only client and not once did they not listen to what I needed to say. They checked in on me often and never pushed me to take anything or do anything I was uncomfortable with. They all went out of their way to genuinely talk to me and share their story and wisdom to help me through my recovery. I always felt safe and most of the time did not feel patient/client, I felt like I was at a second home with a lot of caring friends. They made being sober easy, I never laughed as much as I did and never was I able to share so honestly and openly what my issues were. One of the staff members (Angel) in an effort to make me comfortable went out and even bought me all the ingredients to make Vietnamese soup on his day off (which took half a day), he knew I loved to cook and it gave me a piece of home when I was so homesick. I was and still am so grateful. Thank you (In no particular order and I’m sure I’m missing someone) Shaina, Morgan, Angel, Ken, Scott, Mike, Kelsey, Mark, Adam, Chris, Meg, Jodi, Brian, David, John, and everyone else that was there through my stay. I can sincerely say without them I would not have been able to do this. I will forever be grateful. They have my son back his mom and my mom back her daughter. - Lili

The staff is great especially connects with the individuals and keeps his promise. This place is not for young adults who is not truly dedicated to getting help due to too much down time. This place did help me learn how to cope with life sober. I also put in the work and did exercises on my own during our down times. They don't keep their word alot of broken promises. Food is catered daily which is a waste because food is thrown away daily when their are homeless people that can eat the food. I was told I would be here 60 days and found out 2 weeks before my diacharge that I could only stay 30 days. If I wouldn't have asked, I don't think I would've known. I think staff could be a little more involved than they are. I'm thankful overall because I was able to find me and learn how to stay sober. I see life in a whole different perspective now.
