4933 Wabash Street, Suite 203, Metairie, Louisiana, 70001
Avenues Recovery Center at Louisiana is a residential facility which offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services as well as withdrawal management. Its unique setup – one treatment facility surrounded by 10 beautiful, converted townhomes – enables clients to engage in full-time inpatient treatment while separately residing in a warm domestic setting, removing barriers and diminishing any institutionalized feeling. Staffed by skilled, passionate professionals, clients receive round – the – clock care in the most dignified and compassionate manner. Each staff member is 100% invested in the success of each client and contributes to the wonderful, pervasive homelike atmosphere – which consistently fosters openness and healing. At Avenues, we understand that addiction is a chronic, progressive, and relapsing disease regardless of what caused its onset, and that it can be prevented with timely intervention and care. We believe strongly in our holistic approach – taking a broad view of each client’s physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, and letting that guide treatment. We treat sources, not symptoms; we heal people, not problems. Our comprehensive continuum of care and uniform clinical approach throughout our network ensures you receive consistently excellent treatment throughout your time with us. Upon graduation, our dynamic alumni program ensures you remain engaged and connected to a vibrant recovery community for years to come.

  • Holistic Therapy

Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
  • Intensive Out Patient (IOP)

Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.

This place literally saved my daughter's life. She went to 3 rehabs before this place but this one is the one that worked for her. I wasn't to sure about it because it was an outpatient program. But I'm for ever thankful to you guys.

The staff are extraordinary — caring, professional, and willing to take extra time with each patient as needed... My residency treatment and after care program changed my life forever. I am sober for over a year now and know it will be for a lifetime because of this facility.
