I were employed there. But things started going left with the person that was over me . I really loved my job at first, but couldn't longer handle it due to my supervisor. I won't go into detail to everything that was going on. But I had to walk away from it. And it hurt me to have to do that. All I wanted was a position to do my best at and achieve it with great excellence. But I couldn't longer be there because of that person and their true intentions towards me. But overall besides that. Bradford for me was and is a great facility. Just gotta iron out a few kinks and the rest would be good.

As a previous worker for Bradford Health Services there are a few things people should know and to save someone who IS IN NEED OF HELP ASAP should know. One: if you have Alabama Medicaid they do not take it only to detox for 5 days at WB hospital for opioids not any uppers. They will tell you to do a consultation and waste 45 mins to refer you elsewhere if your insurance does not cover it. They are a profit facility so it is understandable but not understandable to put someone in active withdraws who is vomiting in a shower through a 45 min consult to refer them to someone else. Ask them to verify insurance before you do a consult if you are unsure. This place in the crisis center is ran by a group of ignorant individuals that do not take well to someone offering advice to help things run smoothly. I actually enjoyed helping the people I could help and hope to work for a non-profit one day to help more. Call Ross Recovery if you have Medicaid for more options. If you have Medicare there is a place in Georgia that will come get you and it covers it! I have personally had a family member go for heroin addiction and we had BCBS AL and they only kept them for 14 days because they felt they were ready to leave. Here we are almost a year later struggling with them still.

I had a very pleasant stay at this facility. The staff was over the top welcoming and dedicated to helping the patients to feel wanted. They were all very kind, and genuinely cared. The food was immaculate. Kudos to the kitchen crew. I would recommend this treatment center wholeheartedly. The only issue I had was the Medical staff would not let me implement my treatment plan in helping me to manage my health. I use natural supplements for some health conditions that I have, and the staff was adamant about shoving their Western medicine in me. Helping a patient to recover should be a team effort from a medical perspective. Some patients use holistic methods to manage their health. From my personal standpoint concerning this....”I know what works for me! Aside from that this is a wonderful place to receive treatment.

Disengaged staff with no apparent accountability. Frightening female patient population, largely court ordered to treatment. Rampant theft, arguing, threats, and one fight. It was a traumatic experience, totally, to the point where I had nightmares afterwards.
