Brisas Recovery and Wellness Center of La Jolla is an intensive outpatient program for chemically-dependent individuals struggling with addiction. Services provided include substance abuse education, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness training, stress management, communication skills training, family education and support. toxicological monitoring, psychiatric and physician services, community resource facilitation, and more. Clients receive nine hours of weekly group therapy, as well as one hour of weekly individual counseling to help them achieve lifelong sobriety.

Keerthy Sunder is an experienced clinician, researcher, administrator, teacher, lecturer, and writer for peer-reviewed journals and professional book chapters having earned Diplomates from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and the American Board of Addiction Medicine in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London.

    J. C. Prager received her M.A. in Art Therapy from California State University, Los Angeles in 1999 and is a Registered Art Therapist. Dr. Prager's clinical work has included experience with diverse populations ranging from individuals, families, children, and couples, with extensive experience in the area of juvenile sex offenders and at-risk youth.
