We sent our son here. His primary therapist was confrontational, belittled ALL of her clients in a most punitive way, and was unprofessional. Our son was traumatized BY their treatment, so we moved him to Caron, PA, a VERY different therapeutic model

If you care about your loved one AT ALL & would like them to actually heal from any trauma that might’ve helped lead them into going to a treatment facility, DO NOTTT SEND THEM HERE! I endured hell & left w/ more trauma & a diagnosis of complex PTSD!

^^ Does NOT even deserve one star. The absolute worst rehab facility you could ever imagine. All they care about is taking your money. They will say anything to get you in the door. I was assured I could have my ESA. As soon as we entered the facility they told me I could not have my ESA and tried to have me board my dog. Again, spending more money. Meanwhile, there are ESA‘s walking all around the facility. This was going to be my second time returning to this facility and they made it absolutely impossible to receive the help I so hoped for. The attitude of the staff was a complete abomination. You would think they would take better care of their alumni. When looking for a mental health facility THIS IS NOT the place !!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! Worst treatment center you will ever experience.

Whoever is referring you here gets a humongous referral fee because of the amount you have to pay in cash to go there. They made my family think that if I went to an insurance covered Treatment Center it was going to be garbage and I would be dead in no time. Let me tell you that recovery Centers of America and many other treatment centers that I've been to got ten times more treatment then I did a Karen. I left Karen with so many more mental issues that I did walking in there. If you are new to trying to find out how to help your kid I am open to you emailing me and I will give you advice of course for free and actually tell you what I think Direction you should try going in my email is NickKiefer919 AT Gmail ( I'm sorry to have to write my email in that strength way but unfortunately I've left comments before and a lot of these treatment centers pay all the websites to delete comments like mine especially ones they give the chance to give true reviews two families or try to help them so reach out to me if you need help I will try to at least guide you in the way I wish I went in in the first place because now me and a lot of people are struggling because of that one month that turned into a year and left most of us broken I pray for you and I pray that you at least do as much research as you can before sending anyone you love here. And I know you want to trust this therapist or whoever you're working with but remember a lot of the time in the back of their heads the most important thing is that $10,000 commission they're getting once your child gets sent there so please please do your own research and take a moment and listen to some of these people like me who have been there and have experienced and are still getting through it

One of the few treatment centers that are willing to focus on parents of addicts. Excellent job addressing enabling and codependency. Their family weekends were very powerful
