Specialization

  • 12-Step
The term “12 Step Program” describes a way to recover from addiction that is based on the model developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Many drug and alcohol treatment centers base their treatment on 12 steps – the first three of which are situational, the next four addressing the practical issues created by the addiction, followed by two steps focused on making amends for hurting others. Steps 10 and 11 involve a deeper examination of the previous steps and the final step is focused on helping others avoid and recover from addiction.
  • Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

personalized treatment plans. i loved being able to earn privileges such as going on passes. i focused on the problems behind my drug use and was able to change so much about myself. the counselors are tough on patients but in a good way. there was no slacking off

From the moment, I got there, front desk receptionist and manager came off very rude. The accommodations were comfortable, the rules on belongings- very ridiculous! Some of the RA's were very caring and the others were did not have client/customer service skills nor even smiled and same with a couple of the kitchen staff. Meals were tolerable. The counselors were very caring, understanding, and friendly- except I hoped to be assigned with their expertise of what areas I needed to work on instead of being asked what I wanted to do. The schedule and structure really sucked- group wise, too much down time! Overall, my experience here was a waste of time and I would not recommend, I seen more clients leave early than I seen graduate their programs. This experience was very similar to just being in jail!

This facility changes its policies to much and won’t incorporate with family for their “Patients”. It’s close to jail with better rooms. 5 minute phone call a day anymore and you’re punished like a kindergarten class... Rights? What are those when you need this to get through treatment right? Force people with a cult like sobering technique. What could go wrong? Isolation is a great way to help a addict. You have no family nothing on the outside it’s just family health and your addiction. You can tell George W. Bush funded this facility. Can’t have visitors because they will bring in drugs? Okay... So how about all the food allowed to be delivered? That’s cool though... Eventually you’ll have a mutiny on your hands if you take away the rights of your patients and the families right to see their loved ones. May all your loved ones be forced to do the same to you. I didn’t know nurse ratchet was Based on this facility. I don’t know how you think this works or is successful. Your numbers of people that remain sober after leaving this facility don’t seem to be to high. I was warned that this facility was basically jail and I hoped for a better experience with councilors. I am just family of a person in your building. You don’t take account for what these people do once they graduate. You don’t let them know that someone outside loves them. You make them feel abandoned. You just become another trigger in a addicts life. Delete this and I’ll repost it everyday till I stop breathing...

This place and the staff are amazing from the lunch ladies to the RAs, including the upper management staff members and of course the counselors. Its what you the client makes of it. Treatment plans are designed interactively with the clients directional decision. There's an indoor basketball/volleyball court with air hockey and pool tables, exercise machines and oh yeah get excited for kickball. You have visits once a week, phone calls every night, and 8 smoke breaks per day. Medical transport is available just fill out a medical request. (Medical request forms for primary care, dental or specialty care (suboxone clinic or mental health provider). Quit letting substances take advantage of you and take advantage of this opportunity. It's a chance to free yourself and grow out of old unhealthy habits that never served us anyway. Loved this experience and now starting to love my life.
