Facility Information

What is the duration of addiction treatment programs?
The duration of addiction treatment programs can vary depending on the individual's needs and circumstances but commonly range from 30 to 90 days.
What is the cost of addiction treatment programs?
The cost of addiction treatment programs can vary depending on the type and length of treatment, but many facilities offer financial assistance and payment plans to help make treatment more affordable. Treatment is an investment in your future, and we believe everyone who needs it should be able to access it. We can help verify your insurance coverage at an AAC facility in just a few minutes, and determine the best way to pay for care.
Will my health insurance cover the cost of addiction treatment?
Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), treatment for substance use disorder (SUD) is considered an essential benefit. This means that many health insurance plans cover some, if not all, of the cost of addiction treatment, but coverage may vary depending on the provider and the type of treatment received.
What types of therapies are used in addiction treatment?
Therapies used in addiction treatment can include various behavioral therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and more.
Specialization
  • Individual Therapy

This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to and perpetuate substance abuse.
  • Family Therapy

Research shows that the odds of successful, sustained recovery from addiction are far higher when family members and loved ones are involved in treatment. Drug and alcohol addiction is often called a “family disease” because its impacts extend to the entire family unit. Families can help their loved one recover by understanding and embracing the lifestyle changes that are required to sustain recovery. At Desert Hope, we offer family therapy and encourage family visits so that everyone is working together toward the patient’s recovery.
  • Medical Detoxification

Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects on the body, and many substances are associated with physical dependence, which means the body comes to need the drug simply to function as normal. Without the drug, the body will go into withdrawal. Desert Hope keeps you safe with medical detoxification. We have trained and licensed medical professionals onsite to monitor your vital signs and provide medical care to protect your physical and psychological health as during the acute withdrawal process.
  • Aftercare Support

Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc. Desert Hope staff work with you from the beginning to develop your personal aftercare plan.
  • The Rally Point: AAC

Desert Hope’s treatment team are educated and understanding of the challenges commonly faced by military Veterans. Therefore, treatment team has crafted a specialized curriculum for this population – The Rally Point: AAC – that utilizes proven treatment methods focused on resiliency, behavioral change, and building a healthy lifestyle that is conducive to recovery. Veterans can benefit from the mission focused mindset used in this program, where their military experiences are validated by a team of caring, compassionate individuals, and their mental, physical, and spiritual needs are carefully identified, addressed, and treated. Those who go through this program will have a network to lean on long after they complete treatment.
  • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Patients in the PHP at Desert Hope visit the facility at least 5 days a week for 6 hours at a time. The session blocks involve various forms of evidence-based addiction treatment like behavioral therapy (group and individual), psychoeducation, and peer-support meetings.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Patients participating in an IOP live at home and attend treatment for a minimum of 6 hours per week spread out over several days. At Desert Hope Treatment Center, patients in the intensive outpatient program typically attend at least 3 days per week of treatment for 3 hours or more per day.
  • Sober Living

Our Las Vegas sober living facility at Resolutions is the perfect place for individuals who are ready to live independently but still want the support of a sober community and a drug- and alcohol-free living space.

If you are paying out-of-pocket don't come here. Go somewhere that is more accommodating otherwise you'll probably leave upset.
