Endeavor House is a New Jersey-based alcohol and drug treatment center for adult men and women. The facility in Keyport offers a range of programs, including detox, residential, transitional living and outpatient services, all of which approach addiction from a multidisciplinary standpoint. Treatment is grounded firmly in the 12-Steps and stresses the importance of peer interaction and support, as well as the development of healthy coping skills for daily sober living.

Facility Highlights

  • Self-care Counseling
  • Nutritional Counseling
  • Yoga Classes

  • Holistic Therapy

Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
  • Creative Arts Therapy

Writing, making art or engaging in theater can be deeply therapeutic for people working to recover from addiction. Many facilities offer one or several forms of creative arts therapy as a way to help patients learn to express their feelings in productive ways.

Strengths: clean, yoga, safe. Weaknesses: counselors were not helpful, not enough CBT OR scientific treatment. I think the main issue was that I was not ready yet. There needed to be more empathetic focus on acceptance/surrender.

Getting and helping me to to be drug free, and knowledge on drug dependence. To many adolescent kids with bad attitudes doing what they will Be ready and want it first. You have to want to get clean before you are ready for help
