Areas of Specialization
  • Individual Therapy
This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.
  • Dual Diagnosis/Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment
These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
  • Holistic Therapy
Facilities that offer “holistic therapy” see and treat patients in the context of their entire lives and health status. They treat the “whole person,” not just the addiction.
  • 12-Step
The term “12 Step Program” describes a way to recover from addiction that is based on the model developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Many drug and alcohol treatment centers base their treatment on 12 steps – the first three of which are situational, the next four addressing the practical issues created by the addiction, followed by two steps focused on making amends for hurting others. Steps 10 and 11 involve a deeper examination of the previous steps and the final step is focused on helping others avoid and recover from addiction.

Housing is an issue. Enlighten solutions and serenity housing are technically two different things. The care at enlighten solutions as far as counseling and treatment goes is the best I've ever recieved. But as far as housing goes. It was bad enough to make me never want to come back to enlighten solutions. I was constantly hungry and the room I slept in as well as others were the definitions of the word disgusting. When I moved in someone told me that they didn't even wash the sheets between the time the person before me left and I moved in so I found out I was sleeping on a dirty bed. The staff as far as techs go is good but the higher ups who have all the say, I wonder what they do all day because it clearly can't be their job. This goes for the "php" and the "sober living". I am still sober today so this isn't a review out of spite but I would NOT recommend enlighten solutions due to the fact that their housing and living situation is just that bad compared to the 6 other treatment centers I have been to.

ES saved my life. I went to ES after a 28 day detox & residential treatment center. ES was my PHP. They reacquainted me with myself before I began using drugs. The tools I received at ES aided me in rewiring my mind. The negative self talk was replaced with positive self affirmations. After 30 days in PHP, I continued in sober living while attending ES IOP & OP, gaining even more weaponry to battle my hard wired mind. A mind wrought with cynicism and malevolence. I\'m happier now than I\'ve ever been in my life, and I\'m eternally grateful for ES. I couldn\'t of made it to over 16 months clean/sober without the tools I obtained at ES.

Enlightened solutions saved my life. The skills and knowledge that was provided to me at this facility was more then I could have ever imagined. They have a totally different approach to recovery and it really opened my eyes and allowed me to learn things about myself that I didnt know walking in the door. I came in broken, lost and possibly a little psychotic...lol! It took a couple weeks but by the time I walked out the door my sunshine was back and I felt brand new inside, almost at peice again. The staff is absolutely incredible and is with you every step of the way throughout the entire process of your journey. I was definitely unsure of alot of things when I came in, but walking out I realized how strong I am, how resilient and that I have gained the tools I need for a solid recovery.

I’ve been to this place a few times and if I ever fall off again and had insurance I’d go back. This is the first and only place that made me feel at home and the staff truely cares for each client. There were plenty of times I wanted to just leave and they always talked me down and showed me the light. My therapists will forever be my hero!
