Kool Living Recovery Center knows that one sizes does not fit all when it comes to treatment for alcohol and drug addiction. The rehab operates two facilities in California, and the Canoga Park location offers detox and residential substance abuse treatment. Through education, therapy, groups, activities and 12-Step meetings, clients gain insight into the disease of addiction, as well as build the tools and coping skills necessary to achieve long-lasting sobriety. The facility offers a full continuum of care, with individualized treatment plans to ensure that each client’s unique needs are met.

Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.

I went to Kool Living detox center and it was an amazing place. One woman staff member in particular and the rest of the staff definitely went above and beyond their job description to help me through my heroine withdraws. They helped me realize I wasn\'t a bad person and helped get me on my way to recovery. I am truly thankfull to these people I owe you my life. Thank you do much

Poor facility and unorganized. Staff with big egos. Clients had to wait to go on day trips and cigarette runs. The food portions are very small and menu is very basic with very little taste. Chef Anthony was full of excuses and little knowledge. Avoid this place
