I came to Hairston House after years of on & off attempts at sobriety. I had to be completely honest with MYSELF, first, and to have an open mind and complete willingness to learn about MY disease of alcoholism. It wasn\'t easy, but I knew this program was \"the last house in the street\" to become sober. Now, more than 2.5 decades of cintinuous sobriety, I owe the beginning of sobriety to this no-nonsense program. Thank You for being there for me!
For what it offers, it is a good place to start recovery. good surroundings and helpful staff and also men in the house. hard to find housing afterwards.
