Specialization

  • Residential Treatment

Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program

Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.

I was on the Moms unit. Some counselors were just there for the paycheck and you could tell. Some, however, are amazing. I truly will never forget them. Whenever I get down, I remember one counselor saying to keep your chin up, and I keep going. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I came into the center in March. I was in treatment for 90 days. Staff taught me so much. I learned who I was. One staff member told me every day she loved me. I learned to love myself again. Another staff member showed me how to be a mom again. I moved to the women's recovery home located inside the center. The supervisor and her staff helped me learn how to live again. In my addiction and the lifestyle I had forgotten how to live as a good person and have a healthy life. They have a great structure that I needed. It was not easy but it was so worth it. Any time I needed to talk my recovery coach would stop her paperwork and listen. She is an amazing person. Another staff member taught me how to be a responsible lady. And another ...when I was having a bad day, she would tell me a story that would make my life feel so much better. I also had a group with two staff members. It was my favorite. I gained so much self confidence, respect and esteem through their group. Mater B and sangamon house saved my life.

Haymarket Center literally saved my daughter's life. We do not come from money and we were unable to find a treatment center that would even accept my daughter. Today, she is 6 years in sobriety and we still hear back from Haymarket Center staff! Thank you Haymarket Center!

Needs to up staff credentials for this type business .Not up to supporting and training staff . Main focus in business should be treatment of substance abuse, to insure success of this venture. This location needs more staff to properly manage this facility. The low success rate can be turned around ,and up to par with most of the other treatment centers available.
