Adolescent care was nice. The therapy wasn't as nice.

Staff was friendly. Too many patients per staff member. Unvaried/ineffective treatment plans. My experience at White Pine didn't really help. I don't think it was due to a lack of caring or trying, more due to a lack of funds/resources.

Most of the staff were very caring. The facility was well managed and they offered quite a few group therapies. Sometimes the nurses were late with medications. Some of the staff were rude. I went there because of a suicide attempt. I stayed for five days. My time at White Pine was well spent. I particularly enjoyed the group therapies; they were very informative and relevant to current issues. Most coping skills were based on CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) however, and some of us would also benefit from DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy). All in all, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone with mental health issues and addiction problems.

They were nice. The place is unorganized and dirty.
