Lasting Recovery Outpatient Treatment Center

6046 Cornerstone Ct. W. Suite #113, San Diego, California, 92121
At Lasting Recovery, we believe that effective treatment for recovery from alcohol and drug addictions as well as co-occurring disorders such as anxiety and depression, PTSD and bipolar disorder, must be facilitated by a licensed and certified multidisciplinary team and include education, group therapy and wellness activities. Our methods of treatment include neurobiological, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, motivational, wellness programming and family systems perspectives. We encourage participation in community support while in treatment including twelve-step and other recovery groups. In addition we believe weekly random drug and alcohol screening, along with family education groups, and unlimited Aftercare, are essential for long term recovery.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

The focus of cognitive behavioral therapy (also called CBT) is helping people to understand the thoughts and emotions that underlie their addiction with the goal of learning new, healthier and more productive ways to understand and express themselves.
  • Intensive Outpatient

Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.

I have mixed feelings about Lasting Recovery. The program itself was excellent and the entire staff is well educated and certified. After a rough home detox from prescription Oxicontin and a short stay at Mesa Vista. My AA sponsor recommended Lasting Recovery. I had been clean and sober for 25 years when I was misdiagnosed by a Reumatolagist and treated with huge amounts of opiates. My marriage had been on rocky ground for a year while my wife was fallowing a guru. Advita is a bizarre religion that I refused to swallow. My wife claimed to be a member of AA but had no higher power prior to the hedonistic guru. When the marriage faltered I used the oxy to remove the emotional and physical pain that was later diagnosed as neuropathy. The “marriage counseling” that we got at Lasting Recovery consisted of berating me for not seeing the guru! Anyway getting clean while your heart is breaking really sucked! I’m single and sober still. The ex is still a lemming if the guru. Lasting Recovery is great for recovery but I’d look elsewhere for help with a troubled marriage.
