Specialization

  • Individual Therapy

This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.
  • Family Program

Research shows that the odds of successful, sustained recovery from addiction are far higher when family members and loved ones are involved in treatment. Drug and alcohol addiction often have genetic roots, whether related to substance abuse, mental illness or both. Family dynamics also play a role and, often, family members are the first to realize a loved one has developed an addiction. Also, it's important for family members to understand and embrace the lifestyle changes that are required to sustain recovery.

Worst rehab ever. Totally chaotic - men and women running around so unruly n staff is no better. There is no order so when you arrive you get no list/agenda and are just put in your room. A real joke if you ask me. In the past I attended Mirmont which is top-notch in my opinion and I was expecting so much more.Very disappointing! :(

Recovery starts here. I was treated with respect and really felt at home. ALL of the staff were very compassionate and caring. I was hesitant to go here at first, yet looking back, it was by far the best decision I could of made. Thank you for your patience and giving me my life back. If anyone is serious about getting clean and want to live a good life, I highly recommend Malvern institute willow grove.

The staff was nice when I visited my loved one but did not have enough family involvement and now my marriage is over as my loved one meet a girl in recovery

My husband is currently there. This place is a joke. There seems to be no rules. It's a bunch of court ordered kids that have no interest in rehabilitation. It's honestly a waste of time and money

Strengths: faculty, admissions and discharge, detox care, medical, group therapy, daily scheduling.Weaknesses: Not many leisure activites. I was admitted to this facility the day I decided to seek treatment. The staff was very warm and welcoming. They were also non-judgmental. Staff were professional and kept a lookout at all times. Food was good as well as treatments. Each day was scheduled almost to the T. Many groups per day on addiction, co-occurring, art therapy, meditation, AA/NA groups, etc. The was my first rehab and hopefully last. I have currently been sober 1 year and 3 months!
