I have been in a number of rehabs and Trinity Glen sets the standard that all rehabs strive for. My stay at Trinity Glen was great! The food was great! The location was great! I was able to work on myself in an appropriate amount of time rather than getting rushed through a 30-day rehab. There was a good balance of work, classes and play. Most people really desire to work at Trinity Glen, the work is easy and it helps someone who has been out of the work force to gently get back to a part time work schedule. I always tell other addicts that if they really want a great program to be in, Trinity Glen is the place. Thanks Trinity Glen!

The program itself was very helpful. It is a 4-6 month program now. You do a morning group at 8:00 am after breakfast, then go to a roll call to be assigned your "job" for the day. I was on the maintenance crew so I would help maintain the grounds. The work was good and helped develop my work ethic. Groups are held throughout the day. After 30 days, you are allowed to attend outside meetings and go on passes. However, only SOME of the staff are helpful/respectful. The medical coordinator is a selfish person who delays doctors appointments and attempts to keep you from going to the hospital. Some of the counselors aren't the best either. They delay your aftercare planning and sometimes don't take your concerns seriously. When it comes to the community itself, it all depends on the group of guys that is at the program. I saw the community change throughout my stay. Overall, it helped me stay clean and allowed me to find myself again.

This place was a miracle for my son! He was known as a "superstar" for heroin arrests and failed rehab. I screamed to G-d every night for my son to get clean and my prayers were answered with Trinity Glen. This facility was recommended by a very caring probation officer in the Meriden system. She saw the potential in my son and didn't give up on him. With the help of Trinity Glen and by the grace of God , my son has been clean for 5+ years. He is self employed and doing well. I would go to visit him every Sunday and it was amazing watching his progress and seeing him return to his original self. He was there for nearly 6 months in 2011/2012. Thank you so much Trinity Glen. If response to someone who said not enough structure, let me say that there is plenty to do there and if you are serious about getting clean this is an excellent place to do it.
