Juvenile Drug Court
The program provides intensive services to DJJ clients who have been adjudicated delinquent and have a substance use disorder. The Court takes a lead role in fostering participation in drug treatment. Delinquency court cases require close controls and joint coordination to maintain the safety of the client. This is accomplished through weekly staffings involving Juvenile Drug Court liaison staff from DJJ, the Court and Meridian.Recovery Center, Youth Residential Treatment Center
The Recovery Center is a 16-bed Residential Treatment program treating male adolescents with a substance abuse diagnosis. Children bring to the program not only substance abuse issues, but also a history of family, legal, physical/sexual abuse, and mental health issues. The program offers counseling and supportive services, education, medical service and a structured environment that stresses developing healthy coping and problem-solving skills to deal with family or personal life problems, increasing post discharge resiliency.
