Recovery Village Center

New Directions Northwest - Recovery Village provides a safe and respectful environment where clients can get a fresh start. Treatment is individualized but includes education, focuses on consequences and emphasizes problem-solving skills. Clients participate in relapse planning to minimize the effects of addiction on the family, and parents are allowed to bring children along.

Specialization

  • Residential Treatment

    Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • Dual Diagnosis/ Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment

    These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.

    Tammy began working for New Directions on August 28th, 2006 as a personal care coordinator, was promoted to a counselor 1 position March 21st, 2007. April 26th, 2008 became CADC certified, and promoted to Program Supervisor, and managed the transitional house for women and children. April 18th, 2011 became QMHA certified, and in July 2013 accepted the Program Director position at Recovery Village. Before coming to New Directions worked for Hermiston High School in the Special Education field for 11 years and as On Site Director for Umatilla-Morrow County Head start for 2 years.

    Reta WarnerPsychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioner
    Originally from Wallowa County, Reta moved to Baker City and joined New Directions in October of 2012. Reta is passionate about making a difference in rural community mental health. She provides mental health medication management for clients, across the lifespan, at Mountain Valley Mental Health Program, Elkhorn Adolescent Treatment Center, Recovery Village Treatment Center, Baker House Treatment Center, Blue Mountains Addictions Program and Baker County jail.

Im so happy that I entered this center. the mommy and me is a great program. daycare is provided during the week. Friday and Saturdays are movie and popcorn for mommies.The staff is very attentive to each individuals needs. I also like the fact that they teach structure in daily routines.
