Since 1988, Tim has been involved with Teen Challenge and is deeply aware of what it is to be addicted to drugs. Addiction destroyed his marriage and landed him in prison. However, he soon became a student with Teen Challenge, and over time learned to apply God’s Word to his life. He found renewed purpose and desired to help others just as he was once helped with his drug addiction. After seven years of being estranged from his wife, God gradually restored his marriage and on December 4th, 2008, they celebrated 26 years of marriage!

Every one was very kind and loving and truly cares about the people who needed help. Some times it seemed like they did not have enough staff. They use Faith to help people not only stop drug abuse, but also make their entire lives better

This facility is the real deal. It is focused on changing lives through the power of Jesus Christ. I personally have experience with this facility in Stone Mountain Georgia. It has been and truly is an answer to prayer. The staff at this facility are truly 100% committed the Jesus Christ and to the students going through this program.

Run down facility with a focus on work production not treatment. ...This is a Christian based program with very little teachings about God and treatment. My son did walk away from the facility with a better sense of responsibility, he learned that through developing a better work ethic, but he was no further along in his addiction recovery. I did end up ultimately filing an international complaint against this particular Teen Challenge facility. Please know though that I believe in the philosophy of Teen Challenge when run properly. It is my belief that the Dublin, GA facility was an rare instance and that most facilities are more about treatment/ healing than work production. With many centers throughout the nation in operation, finding an effective one shouldn't be that hard. My advice, interview them extensively, ask a lot about their daily schedule, their recreation options, work expectations and any other pertinent information. Good Luck to you and yours.
