Phoenix House Florida - Residential Treatment Program

My girlfriend is in the program and is doing well despite all the issues we have had with this facility. Most of the problem is whatever the rules are in their handbook are not followed by the facility. They seem to make up the rules to fit their needs instead of the patients needs. My girl needs to go to the social security office and the DMV but hasn\'t been there 120 days even though the handbook states they can before they reach 90 days. They also wouldn\'t let her use her phone to even file her taxes even though she should be allowed after 90 days and she\'s been there over that mark. Other than those issues the only other problem is when you try to reach management concerning any issue it just gets ignored. Even by the CEO which is a poor way to run a treatment facility.

Treatment was pretty effective and connectivity was great.

Strenghts are the long term program and its help with transitioning the clients back into society. Weaknesses: Food, staff turn over rates are very high. No treatment for those with serious mental issues in addition to addiction. The Phoenix House has the ability to save your life but you have to put your all into this program or you get nothing. The tc community is very effective.

Strengths: support with personal treatment planning Weaknesses: Follow up after treatment. Great personal experience. Pleasant faculty. Decent accomidations. Enjoyed group work and activities.

On not let you shave and wash your clothes. they let a fall for people that there's nothing wrong for them. Weaknesses: they're nice to you when you first go in but after your dinner there.. the people there aren't the same they...don't need to be working like that
