Specialization

  • Individualized Treatment

Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.
  • Dual Diagnosis/ Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment

These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.

This place was nice. I don’t know about anyone else but when I arrived here for mental health I didn’t want to be there cause I didn’t think that I needed it but I honestly am grateful for some of the staff that I met. If you let them help you, they will. But obviously if you give the staff a hard time trying to help then that’s when you feel that some of the staff are being rude. Security did a pretty good job at keeping us safe but obviously, they would not be able to control for example, a 6’7 300lb man if there is only 1 or two people trying to keep everyone safe. Food kinda sucked though. Overall just let them help you and they will try their best.

This place is horrible. You dont get to go outside. The security be doing way to much. They dont do anything but pump you up with meds and if you ask them about each medication the techs have no idea. They are all rude and wont answer questions. They never on schedule. The food is good but other then that this place is horrible.

This place is SO HORRIBLE. I went in for anxiety and depression and small Xanax situation and of course they shove Ativan down my throat like 3 times a day 2 pulls at once on top of buspar and trazedon at night.. btw I was not worried 10-13. The staff are the rudest people I’ve ever met. There’s no therapy only group sessions with recovering addicts who work there. “Lock down” is a JOKE. They dope you up with meds and place you in front of a tv. I went outside 3 times in 7 days and all you can do is sit on a bench.. no activities AT ALL. They have crayons to color, a tv, and books that are torn to pieces and magazines. You might get colored pencils but they take them away if no one is watching. OH and they lost my phone and clothes. I had to dig through other people clothes to find mine and of course I was balling.. it was my release date and my caseworker told me to dry my face or I’ll stay longer.. this place is a joke DO NOT GO. I was so sick when I got home from the meds and I’m in the process of suing them. It’s a very unhealthy environment

Please be ware of this place! They damaged our granddaughter severely. They would not listen to her mother, our daughter. They did not do a good evaluation of her mental readiness. She had very little counseling or treatment by a licensed doctor but met with "staff" a few times. They drugged her severely and she received very little real counseling. They did however teach her how to stand up for her 'rights', that she wasn't accountable to anyone but herself. They prolonged her stay after she was begging to come home - in my opinion to milk the insurance company. It will take our family a long time to recover from the damage done by this very poorly run institution. Run, don't walk, away from this facility.
