    This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.
  • Dual Diagnosis/ Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment

    These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.

  • Margie Holmstrom
    Margie Holmstrom Administration Director
    Ms. Holmstrom has over 20 years’ combined experience in administration, with a focus on corporate compliance, process improvement and human resources. She was previously the VP of Administration/Corporate Secretary for a large reprographic network association and more recently, for a newly forming commercial airline in Carlsbad. Margie is looking forward to working with management at PRI to streamline the operation of its multiple facilities and put together strategic plans for its future growth.
  • Maureen Jacquot
    Maureen Jacquot Resident Assistant
    Ms. Jacquot is a former New York City Police Officer who is excited about a new line of work. As a Police Officer, she found herself interested more in why people were committing the crimes at hand, versus the normal processing of an arrest; this is what triggered her interest into this rewarding career change. She is currently enrolled in her final two classes that complete the required coursework for an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling, and she will begin her clinical hours to complete the program this fall. Upon graduation, she is planning to pursue LPCC licensure. Outside of work and school, Maureen spends most of her time keeping active outdoors, attending music venues, and traveling.
