The mission of Prairie St. John’s is to provide adult men and women with hope and healing from mental illness and addiction. Based in Fargo, ND, the rehab offers a comprehensive range of treatment services, from detox and residential care to intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services. The facility is 12-Step based and teaches the disease model of addiction, which asserts that substance abuse is a clinical condition rather than a moral failing. By giving clients access to healthy support, as well as the tools to manage their symptoms, Prairie St. John's offers treatment that can keep participants sober for life.

Specialization

  • Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Patients who undergo intensive outpatient treatment continue to live at home and sometimes go to school or work while participating in a highly structured treatment protocol that is focused on ending substance abuse. Programs vary in terms of how much treatment patients receive, how often and for how long. Some facilities design individualized intensive outpatient treatment programs.
  • Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

Local, caring, dedicated staff. Good curriculum/program. Overworked staff, too few doctors, small space. Recommended.

They seemed to actually care about the patients well being Way to expensive,a person having to attempt suicide before they'd intervine is ridiculous The mental health system needs a serious overhaul,it's not just this facility. He did receive the help needed, but at a huge financial cost. Most people cannot afford this, and that is why they end up on the streets.

    secret

This place is a Joke! They do not take care of people in here they come out with worst problems.. What choice does a mentally ill person have though?? This is why they can charge thousands and just push a person to the side.
