Providence Women's Recovery offers clients an alternative to traditional drug and alcohol treatment programs. The Christian-based rehab combines spiritual development with clinical methodologies to give women a comprehensive recovery experience that’s effective and sustainable. Using the Bible in conjunction with the 12-Steps, clients learn to explore the spiritual aspects of addiction and develop their own personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ.

Aftercare Support
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.Individualized Treatment
Some facilities have an addiction treatment protocol that all patients or clients are expected to follow, while others customize or individualize treatment based on a person’s unique needs and circumstances. Factors that may affect treatment decisions include age, lifestyle, medical conditions, type of drug, religious beliefs, etc.

- Lillian BarnwellProvidence Women’s Recovery DirectorLillian Barnwell is the Director of Providence Women’s Recovery Program which is affiliated with Providence Ministries, Inc. located in Dalton Georgia. Lillian has been committed to the field of mental illness since 2006, beginning with her work with sexual abused children and those suffering with eating disorders in her clinical training. Lillian received her Bachelor’s Degree from Birmingham-Southern College. She received her Master’s Degree in counseling graduating with honors from the University of Birmingham at Alabama. Lillian is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is currently working on becoming a Certified Addiction Counselor. Prior to becoming a mental health specialist, Lillian worked many years as a Human Resources Professional. Lillian was drawn to Providence Ministries due to their commitment to sharing the love of Christ as they work to help people recover from their addiction. Understanding that treatment does not end when ladies graduate from the 90 day program, Lillian has worked extensively to develop a transitional program to ease their transition into everyday life. Lillian brings a calming and gentle presence to the program, as well as, creating a place of safety where women can heal and experience the transformative experience of being in a Christian environment. Lillian believes it is an honor to help people as they seek full restoration in every aspect of their lives.
- Kristina CirelliProvidence Women’s Recovery Administrative ManagerKristina Cirelli is our Administrative Manager at Providence Women’s Recovery. Kristina also assists with intake coordination and program logistics. This includes helping program participants with discharge planning, finding them outside resources, and assisting with legal matters. Kristina makes herself available to assist wherever needed, often above and beyond her normal job functions. She is a program graduate and practices recovery in her own life and utilizes her own experiences to help others. After going through the program Kristina made the decision to dedicate her life to helping others find their way to recovery. She is currently working on attaining her Certified Addiction Counseling License for the State of Georgia. Kristina is originally from the small state of Maryland and also spent some time in Southern California. She now resides in Georgia with the mission to help others through the difficult yet rewarding process of recovery.
