Pyramid Healthcare Altoona Detox And Inpatient Treatment Center At Duncansville

I am from a Doctors office and I called because a patient of ours was inpatient at this facility and I wanted to fax a records request over due to this patient being in our office. When I spoke to the staff at Pyramid and asked if I could speak to medical records simply to ask if records could be expedited due to the patient being in our office their answer was simply no. I explained I just wanted to get the records as soon as possible and their response was when we get the request we will deal with it. I asked again if I could speak with someone in medical records they then said they won\'t give you any information. I explained I understood that but wanted to speak to them due to patient being here. They then said they don\'t really have a phone number. I asked for the first initial of their last name to which they said why do you need that. I explained I wanted it for when I called and issued a complaint I wanted to be sure I knew who I was speaking to. They then hung up

Call center lies told 3 different things told they had a bed shower up claim I was not on list. Women leaving said place has no stricture

This is the worst rehab I have ever heard of in my life it is not a open facility like they say they throw away everything that you bring with you, books snacks contacts contacts solution shaving cream The only thing you get to keep is your clothes and not even all of that it's definitely a sausage fest you are kept in your dorm Room or down the Hall in the group Room all except for the smoke breaks in locked up court yard or for dinner ... it is more like a jail then some jails. Choosing to go there is a huge mistake pick any other place not this one if you are getting released from jail to go there Then it's worth in the food better but it's same routine he can't sit shower or shave without their permission you're not allowed anything but water it's a joke

This place is a joke no help at all they only care about money my fiancé was sent there for court ordered rehab 60-90 days and this rehab in Duncansville tell me and her kids she’ll be home in month and half then turn around and tell her they sending her to their halfway house and if she done go to it they will call the courts on her knowing she has court dates coming up and her job waiting for her they tell her she needs to goto halfway house for 6 months she was also sent to the er due to reactions with their meds they had her on and refuse to take her to a real dr not their pretend ones this place should be shut down they offer no real help only concern they have is for the money

Terrible place! What a joke. No professionalism at all.
