Areas of Specialization
  • Client & Family Support Groups
Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.
  • Dual Diagnosis/Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment
These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
The focus of cognitive behavioral therapy (also called CBT) is helping people to understand the thoughts and emotions that underlie their addiction with the goal of learning new, healthier and more productive ways to understand and express themselves.
  • Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • Art Therapy
A form of psychotherapy involving the encouragement of free self-expression through painting, drawing, or modeling, used as a remedial activity or an aid to diagnosis.
  • Outpatient Services
At Danvers, we offer Extended Day Treatment, Day Treatment (day and evening hours available) and an Outpatient Program. If you are suffering from addiction to drugs or alcohol, the caring staff of therapists at Danvers will facilitate treatment with unparalleled dedication to seeing each patient become well and thrive.
  • PRISE: Relapse Prevention
PRISE: a Program Designed for Patients Who Have Relapsed The path to recovery is unique to each person struggling with addiction. For some people it takes multiple attempts at recovery, and with each passing attempt they may feel less optimistic about their future. At Recovery Centers of America, we see each attempt at recovery as a sign of commitment and hope. This specialized program uses a therapeutic, evidence-based approach designed to help those for whom recovery has been elusive. PRISE (Promoting Recovery through Intensive Support and Education) focuses patients on their recovery, rather than addiction, and focuses on a bright future
  • Thrive: For LGBTQIA+ patients
Thrive, our LGBTQIA+ focused program, is a one-of-a-kind and life-changing addiction treatment program for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Our program will help you achieve a successful recovery by addressing important issues alongside substance use disorder, such as identity, self-worth, social stigmas and trauma. And, while in treatment you will be in an inclusive environment to help you feel safe, respected and a part of a supportive community.
  • WorkFlex: Work while in inpatient rehab
RCA WorkFlex, a service unique to RCA, enables you to continue fulfilling employment or education responsibilities during your time at our inpatient rehab facility. Through this treatment enhancement service, you are empowered to keep your primary focus on your personal recovery during inpatient treatment, while having the ability to spend three hours a day maintaining virtual work and school obligations. Absolute shoddy joke of a facility . They want you to believe it’s high class with the overpriced artwork of celebrities who have died from their addiction. Yes you heard that right. I was violently ill and pretend nurses refused to help or call 911 for a half hour. I pleaded for my life vomiting with a severe headache. Do yourself a favor before you send a loved one here. They break hippa laws staff gossips about one another they had rain water pouring from a sky light into food being served. 2 fatalities and the stat has shut this place down already. Matter of time before there’s a third death. Abd tge exec director and new CEO are jokes.

I thought I just left a review. This place is a total sham. Facilities appear nice.. inside not so much. But more importantly their following COVID protocols werecc V a total lie. I could go on and one on about the lack of patient’s safety. I needed help... I begged them to change their protocols.. they couldn’t care less. I am a highly educated person. I needed care . There were many unfortunate people there who they gave a false sense of security.. they posted that they were following cdc and WH O protocols and were in no way were not. The were symptomatic payeients that we’re not quarantined... there is so much than to be listed here... they didn’t care ... I begged them to change the protocols... they didn’t and were not willing... thete were so many people there they had a false sense of security... I didn’t want to leave but felt I had no option... they couldn’t get rid of me fast enough... the most insulting thing since I left is seein commercials about they are open... no mention of of pre screening etc... insurance scam of the century

To qualify let’s just say I’ve been to 80+ detoxes, 8 halfway house, countless sober houses, and 9 section 35s, prison, etc. So for a person like me walking into this 5 star facility I thought someone must have messed up and sent me to the wrong place. But once I got in, I soon realized this was the best place I have ever had the pleasure of being welcomed into. Everyone from the RSs, the team of counselors, the nurses, you can tell they are not just there for a paycheck, these people genuinely want to help and see you do well. I’ve been out for a few days now and got back on my vivitrol shot. THANK YOU RCA DANVERS FOR EVERYTHING!
