This program has the biggest share of our heart. That’s because our 12-month, comprehensive Women and Children’s Center program helps get families back on their feet, kids back in school, and hope back in their lives. Through this unique residential program, women are able to find the healing they need while simultaneously continuing to raise their children. The Women and Children’s Center provides long-term treatment to residents while incorporating Biblical principles into their lives, leading to lasting, transformative change.

Aftercare Support
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.

- Herb JohnsonPresident/CEOHerb Johnson, President/CEO, puts his extensive executive experience to work leading the San Diego Rescue Mission, an organization that, literally day-by-day, makes the difference between life and death for many in our city. Mr. Johnson, who holds a MBA from the Harvard Business School, had a dynamic career in the business world, including leading Summit Concept, a unique Supply Chain and Executive Partnership Firm based in San Diego. He also served as Executive Vice President for Supply Chain Management of Premier, Inc., and as President of Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P., a $14 billion Group Purchasing Organization. In addition, he was President of the Council of Logistics Management, the leading association of supply chain executives in the world.
