  • Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies

Specialization

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a highly specific, research-validated form of therapy that can help people overcome traumatic stress, anxiety and depression. With EMDR, a trained practitioner uses bilateral stimulation, eye movement and touch to stimulate parts of the brain as a patient recounts certain experiences and memories as a way to more thoroughly process uncomfortable, painful feelings.
  • Client & Family Support Groups
Group therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.

I have had the opportunity over the years to refer many clients over to Simple Recovery for continuing care. My experience with them has always been positive. Their admissions team is easy to work with, their clinical team has always communicated well with me and the family members of those I have referred to Simple. I have personally viewed their residential treatment center/detox and it is extremely well maintained and very upscale. Their staff has always been friendly and has huge hearts. The family program at Simple Recovery is what has had the biggest impact on me personally. I have had numerous parents and loved ones reach out to me after completion of the family program at Simple with extremely positive feedback. Not only does Simple Recovery have a 3 day (8 hours per day) family program they also have two evening nights per week that are open to family members to attend. I can't say enough good things about this great program.

Please do not put a loved one through this program. They lied to me and sold me services they didn’t have. They promised I would be in their women’s program, complete with housing. I was just put in the men’s day program and shuttled back and forth from random transitional housing!!! I was publicly body shamed by my counseled for ‘distracting the boys’... WHY AM I EVEN GOING THROUGH THIS MENS RECOVERY PROGRAM??? Total insurance fraud and one out of twenty people I knew who went through this program stayed sober for a year or more. Save yourself the time, money, and emotional turmoil that is dealing with this organization

So average - terrible executive director, terrible clinical director and even worse is the clinical director of admissions - the entire company is just not in it for any reason other than it's just a job 12 out of 100 for this below average place - better off going any place else.
