Sober Partners Detox Center Newport Beach – Alcohol & Drug Rehab

My son's treatment at Sober Partners sober living was inadequate at best. Days after entering their IOP program they told my son they no longer had a therapist on staff, and that one wasn't needed. They billed insurance for services not provided, "counselors" were minimally, if not completely unqualified, lots of trips to the beach/rides on the owner's yacht under the guise of outdoor therapy. When my son relapsed they kept him in the same residential location but in the "detox" area, gave him several unnecessary meds and kept him in detox for 7 days (which insurance covered). They lost packages sent to my son. When the owner finally contacted me he claimed he'd replace the merchandise but offered no explanation as to what happened. Unscrupulous, unresponsive, fraudulent operation with predatory practices. Patients under the care of newly sober "interns" with no or minimal education in addiction treatment.

My son went through the program and here we are 2 years later , succesfully attending school, working, and basically do very well and drug free for over 2 years. We have our son back after almost 8 years of addiction hell......thank you to one staff member in particular and all the folks that helped get us to this point.......its a hard road but a healthy road for those that stick to the plan and embrace their addioction and desire to have a different outcome. For all us enablers, its time to \"Fire\" ourselves and let the professionals take over..... if you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got....Tough love and hands off are the only way you will have a different outcome....until you are ready to recognize that we are part of the problem and we must let go, sad to say, there is virtually no hope..... Sober partners runs a great operation and has great people. They are in it to help, not to become rich. They have our endorsement!!!!! Ted

This is an amazing place to be in for treatment. I could not have asked for a better place. It is exactly what I needed in my life and I couldn\'t have done it without the help of Sober Partners. I would recommend it to anybody who\'s looking for treatment, sober living, or outpatient.
