My experience with Spirit Mountain goes way back. Our son was a patient and spent a better part of almost a year there. From the very first initial contact with Chris, we knew this was where we would be sending our son for his recovery. Chris is the most caring and compassionate man along with his staff. We have dealt with other centers and were treated like a dollar sign and not a human asking for help and guidance. Since our sons treatment and release, I wont lie, there were a few bumps in the road but with the skills that our son learned (like how to love himself first), got him through. He is now a healthy participant in his life and the life of those around him. We are so grateful to the Spirit Mountain Family!

Spirit Mountain Recovery was my umpteenth treatment centee I have been through. It was the most solid and helpful for practical life. It wasnt like the normal treatment centers I\'d been to where we would sit in a circle in rooms all day and learn some stuff. At SMR we actually did stuff we went on hikes, we went camping, we learned in groups, we had speakers come from other nations. We did many things, plus the staff was always very personable and understanding to thw things I was going through or the mistakes that I had made even while being there. SMR For me stood out in the word Spirit, because that is what embodied the staff and surrounding nature. Thanks to all!!

I feel extensively grateful to have found Spirit Mountain Recovery (SMR). I have been a patient at other treatment centers and can say that SMR offered a level of compassion and care for their clients that I haven’t seen before. The exceptional clinical and peer support staff put effort into identifying, addressing, and working on issues that slipped through the cracks at other treatment centers. I greatly appreciate SMR’s holistic approach to treating addiction. SMR has found a way to blend comprehensive clinical care with experiential therapy and recreational activities. My treatment was fun, intensive, and personalized. The owners and staff put a tremendous amount of time and effort into my treatment and helping me reintegrate into life outside of treatment. The treatment center is located in the beautiful Wasatch mountain range with close access to a wide variety of outdoor activities that helped keep me engaged and physically active. I was able to work intensively in therapy and explore a variety of recovery programs without feeling like I was in an institution. Lastly, I’m very grateful for all the meaningful and lasting relationships I have made with other clients and staff!

Spirit Mountain Recovery\'s program gave me a new perspective on life and the best chance for long term recovery that I didn\'t think existed. They integrate real life into recovery and customize a treatment plan that is effective for every possible background. I have made relationships that are for a life time and have the support system after I leave to help me through difficult times in the future. The mountainous setting and outdoor activities truly have transformed me. I will be forever grateful to the staff and people that helped me find my way. If you think that there isn\'t a program for you, try this place, it will forever change your life.

This place is amazing. Going into and committing to rehab is the best thing I have ever done for my self and my family/friends. The owners and other staff really made it feel like people actually cared because they do. I didn't just feel like another client or patient. I felt like I am actually good enough. I have only been home a few days but everyone keeps telling me I look and sound great. I also know this is not a one stop 30 day fix. Spirit Mountain helped me realize what I need to do and where I want to go. Spirit Mountain is my trail head.
