Terrible. Sent my son to STC for treatment. He was sexually assaulted and bullied by other patients. Staff is incompetent. He was misdiagnosed and over medicated for things he does not have. One of the worst decisions, I’ve ever made. Stay far, far away from these people.

The counselors at St. Christopher\'s were very kind, caring and genuinely seemed interested in helping our son, HOWEVER, the financial side/management of this facility is ATROCIOUS. The reviewer \"bs\" was ABSOULTELY correct in that they are ONLY about your $$. In fact, we are in a huge dispute with them as we have insurance and FULL coverage for this facility as they are IN NETWORK, however they refuse to file claims at all, or if they do file them, they are filed incorrectly so they don\'t get paid promptly or at all, so then they are billing us the difference between their private pay rates (which are VERY high) and the rates the insurance company is willing to pay. Our son had multiple mental health issues, and they were all too happy to get rid of him as soon as we said we weren\'t paying anymore and to seek reimbursement from our insurance company. This facility and another our son went to turned out to ONLY be about the $$ and that is ALL that mattered to them. We were impressed with the counselors and their caring nature, however, like BS said they have yet to ONCE inquire or care as to our son\'s well being after they kicked him out. We are also an upper middle class family, not that it matters, but I also can\'t imagine how people handle/pay for their children to get help. We wiped out our ENTIRE SAVINGS between this facility and one other, and it was all for NOTHING because as soon as the $ was out, they were done. Period. The end. No wonder so many children and adults are dying from drug and alcohol abuse. No one can afford to get their loved ones help, while these facilities are RAKING in the money. AWFUL. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY AT ALL.

Our family found St. Chris to be a first-rate program with highly competent and warmly caring staff. The graduated levels of care/treatment available are the backbone of the program\'s effectiveness and accessibility.

This rehab has absolutely great counselors. My son was in their program and for a month and he made great progress. The only thing with this rehab is that if you run out of money or insurance you are out of the program. I do understand how this works rehabs need to make money also to stay open but after insurance ran out he was out....I brought my son home and unfortunately he messed up. We decided to call St Christopher's for help and basically there was none. I was told that I needed to come up with more money which I did not have...We (now) have him in a outpatient rehab which is working great for him...Not once has St Christophers ever corresponded with us to see how he was doing...we are an upper middle class family and I cant imagine how people feel when they have no money. Shame on most of the rehabs out there.
