The main mission of The Beacon House is to provide the best recovery experience possible for men struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction. The residential rehab does this by providing clients with a safe, clean, and healthy environment for recovery, in addition to counseling and other proven methods for substance abuse treatment. The hope is that when each resident’s stay is over, he will be able to return to “real life” with a solid foundation for life-long sobriety.

Very friendly staff, family like environment. However, organization, professionalism, and quality were lacking. My cousin attended the rehab center for 2 months and they seemed unprofessional. Though some of the counselors were incredibly warm and truly caring. The place also felt a bit disorganized.

He spoke very highly of his experience. It is very expensive but it was paid for by his employer. I had very little time at the facility. I believe it may have been my son's choice. I note that his mother also did not visit, though she wanted to.

I had been to many programs in the past, Beacon House is by far the hardest program ever, it's not for everyone. If you complete it you will never need another. Relapsed after one day but continued to work with a sponsor. Learned about the facility by word of mouth; people I knew said it was the best if I really wanted to stay clean.
