Specialization

  • Residential Treatment

Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • 12-Step

The term “12 Step Program” describes a way to recover from addiction that is based on the model developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. Many drug and alcohol treatment centers base their treatment on 12 steps – the first three of which are situational, the next four addressing the practical issues created by the addiction, followed by two steps focused on making amends for hurting others. Steps 10 and 11 involve a deeper examination of the previous steps and the final step is focused on helping others avoid and recover from addiction.

I didn’t stay sober after I completed their program. I ask you who’s fault was that ? It certainly wasn’t theirs. I made the decision to pick up. They gave me direction, but I made a uturn. For a long time I had a resentment against Jack Smith. However all along the resentment was against myself. If you truly want sobriety, if you truly want recovery, if you are 100% done, then Jack Smith can give you the direction you need. For what he taught me I am truly grateful.

For me The Ed Keating Center, helped me save my life and marriage. It taught me what I need to do to get sober and stay sober. My sobriety date is Sept 9 2012. The Ed Keating Center showed me how to hold this date. They also gave me a place to lay my head down when nobody wanted me. It was literally the last house on the block for me. It was structured well for A community living environment. We kept it clean and taught how to be a productive member of society.

This place is one of the worst in Cleveland the people that run it don't give two craps about the men LIVING there ..I have been a past client more then a few times. They treat you like a slave a. Throw you out for nothing .I have a conversation with a friend that is right now in ICU because he went here for help an in his words " there was to many drugs there " so he left an now has overdosed an is in ICU not expecting to make it out! The person that runs this place took my daughter's car off the lot illegally an had it crushed at the scrap yard. He has been caught 2 times selling food from the Cleveland food bank an now these guys can not even get a decent amount of food . They Also advertise illegally they are not a treatment center ..which is in direct violation. Of Ohio revised code . Get this place in order.
