The facility and/or staff are the ones who are supposed to lead by example, however what can you expect when the therapists don\'t have pride in themselves. They dress poorly, their office is very disorganized, and the place is a dump. The entire place is very ghetto! Seems they don\'t take any pride in their facility. They state they are not about making a person feel guilty; yet they do use manipulation in their strategies by trying to make us feel guilty if we decide not stay a full 90 day program. They tend to generalize and have the attitude that ONE SIZE FITS ALL treatment and don\'t take into consideration that what works for some doesn\'t work for everyone. Additionally their ALUMNI POWERED system as they call is just another way of having the patients take the \"salaried\" staff responsibilities - so they can save in hiring new employees. Research other places first; this place is cheap so you get exactly what you pay for: poor therapy, poor attention, & poor facilities.

I walked into the haven on April 29 2014 strung out, hopeless, and scared. This was the first time i have ever gotten sober before and it was terrifying. I did not know how to live sober, i was used to living in chaos and that was how my life was pure chaos. Going to the haven was the scariest most beneficial thing to ever happen to me. It was the first place that i was actually able to look at the underlining reasons why i decided to use drugs and alcohol in the first place. The way they run the program is amazing it is difficult at times but it will change your life if you let it. The haven did not only give me my life back, but it also gave me a family. If you would of told me i would be where i am at today 2 years ago i would tell you that you were full of it. The haven and the staff there actually care about the individuals who attend there. It is a place i hold sacred to my heart because of all of the good they have done not only for me but for all of my friends. It is a wonderful program and i highly recommend it to anyone trying to get help. Sense i have graduated the haven i have not only got sober and learned how to live life sober, but i have started college and have a wonderful job. This place introduced me to alcoholics anonymous which i never thought i would ever go to. But in the end it has saved my life more than once and i will for ever be grateful for the haven

After nine weeks of treatment, we found out our son had not been drug tested once. By failing to adequately test patients, the program does not provide a safe environment for recovery. The management hides behind "patient confidentiality" and is not interested in hearing concerns from the people paying for the treatment. The treatment is run in a unprofessional and very lenient manner that provides little accountability for patients. My observation is that "the inmates are running the asylum" and in my opinion that is not a good environment for recovery.
