I was referred to Tranquil Shores by a friend who has been in recovery for many years. The program helped me gain knowledge and understanding about my alcoholism. I was also able to gain the base I need to move forward in my recovery. The comradery with the community of other clients was amazing. I was able to set up a support system so I didn\'t attempt to do it alone.

Tranquil Shores came to my attention while looking at options for treatment. I ultimately landed on TS because it wasn\'t a 12-step program, which I had been resistant to. After a lot of therapy and help, I soon understood why I thought the way I had and what contributed to my disease. The process really helped to open me up to the 12 step program. Working with TS gave me the ability to explore other options for recovery and gave me the space to find a program that works best for me. The reconnection with my spirituality and myself are the two most significant achievements during my time there.

I chose TS due to alcohol abuse. I was able to learn how to forgive myself and forgive others for the things that had been done to me. The small tightknit community and 3-1 client to therapist ratio made all the difference. The counselors are very knowledgeable in helping us navigate our emotion and addiction. Hearing my peers struggles helped me as well.

I had become physically dependent on oxycodone. I sought Tranquil Shores because I heard it was a reputable facility with top notch therapists. Working with Tranquil Shores made me understand how my brain works and why it would always seek substances. I loved this place and would come back under different circumstances just so I can get more knowledgeable. This place is awesome if you really want help.

Tranquil Shores is a very special place for your loved one to get help and to get healthy. They see the benefits of including family in counseling and a plan for when your loved one leaves their care. I would strongly recommend and urge you to check it out. Our child\'s time there changed our family\'s life for the better.
