Treatment at TROSA goes beyond basic sobriety. The residential substance abuse rehab strives to give clients real-life experience through vocational training and education, as well as peer counseling, mentoring, leadership training and aftercare. Once the two-year program is complete, clients are better equipped to handle the pitfalls and challenges of everyday life without turning to alcohol and/or drugs.

Specialization

  • Individual Therapy
This term describes one-on-one therapy, in which a patient and trained counselor, social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist meets privately with a patient to discuss challenges related to lifestyle, work, family and romantic relationships that may have contributed to the development of an addiction.
  • Aftercare Support
Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. After reading over some of the reviews, I almost wondered if there was another treatment program by the same name. As a graduate, my time at TROSA completely changed my life in positive ways that I couldn\'t even imagine before going through the program. I\'ve been in recovery for 10 years since graduation. Due to the personal and vocational skills I learned at TROSA, I\'ve exceeded any expectations of success that I had prior to admission. It can be a challenging program, but in the end, it\'ll always come down to the degree of seriousness about true change, that will determine if someone takes advantage of the opportunities at TROSA or blames others for their failure to do so.

First their fax machine wasn't working and they didn't get our fax, then they ask for a list of the, we did it, then they asked for things we already sent!!! It's because she us female!!! I get it now, they don't want females!!! I am so glad they gave us the run around, now we made the right decision to drop them;!; Don't waste your time and effort if your a female trying to get in...they seem to not be interested if ur make !!! I am going to tell everyone I know what a joke they are!

This program is bogus! Do not support them. They treat women like dogs. They show favoritism to men, because they are investment. This program focus is making money not helping people to get well. Do not support them with anything. Grants , hire them , or send your family to be this program. It's bogus program!

While free and often helpful as a treatment program, Trosa does not do a good job including family members in its treatment module or communicating with family members affectively. Some of the initial housing is unheeded in the winter and not in good condition. Trosa could seriously improve its out reach to family members and rely less on inexperienced Residents of the program to guide their treatment effectiveness.

There are many people who come to Trosa a large number do not stay....working 6 days a week and although not religious based the fact that residents are not allowed to worship is not good.
