WhiteSands Alcohol & Drug Rehab Fort Myers

Lisa Hi I just left the White Sands Ft Myers. Where do I begin…… The therapists wonderful especially Jodi n ty Janette as well! The food lacks for those on special diets n no there is no person chef! The group classes neeex to change!!!

I checked my fiancé in yesterday. I very disappointed in the staffing. During the interview process (intake) personal cell phones are ringing and dinging inside the room. And at one point during the intake a nurses phone behind us starting playing music from a video she was watching and she jumps up a runs out the room. (It was just interruption after interruption during the intake) It was very disappointing knowing that I was quoted three different prices from three different individuals who called constantly trying to get us to come there facility. ( In my opinion you don’t need three different people calling you). They weren’t very organized.

White Sands was my 7th inpatient rehab. If it were my first, I guarantee it would have been my last. I learned more here than all the other ones combined. The process groups were amazing. I found out things about myself that were buried so deep, I forgot about them. Healing does not occur until we let go of all the blocked things that causes us to use. The physical grounds were amazing. The houses were beautiful and well kept .We enjoyed Private rooms and swimming pools as well as yoga and the gym. We even had weekly visits to the chiropractor. This was especially advantageous to me as I suffer from chronic pain. It is emphatically a luxury rehab. We had catered meals every day. There was always fresh fruit and snacks available to us. More importantly, the staff was truly caring. The majority were in recovery as well. This always made a difference for me as I\'ve been to rehabs where staff looked down to us and treated us accordingly. The techs were astonishing in both our physical and our recovery needs. They even went to the store and filled our requests! They were always willing to sit and talk to us. Some even went as far as running extra group times for those of us who wished to partake. In addition the doctors, nurses and especially the counselors made each one of us feel as if we were important. They truly cared about our recovery. I genuinely feel that White Sands saved my life. They even followed up on us after we left the facility. Never have I been to a rehab that cared enough to do that. I still continue to receive texts and calls from the faculty several times a week 50 days later. The positive environment was contagious. Even the clients were confirming. . This is the only rehab I was willing to write a review for. If you are in need of treatment, do yourself a lifelong favor and come to White Sands.

Today is May 20, 2020 just want to let everybody know about the two cases of positive corona that came back today no precautionary measures were put into place at White Sands Tampa two people went to the hospital last week with coronavirus tested positive they tried to test us with these dollar coronavirus tests they’re not taking no precautions everybody be aware of this please
